Claude Code
Add Unitley to Claude Code with one terminal command and an access token, check the connection with /mcp, and ask your first question.
Claude Code talks to Unitley directly over HTTP, so there is nothing to install beyond Claude Code itself. You add the server once with a terminal command that carries your access token.
Set it up
Create a token
Open the Connect page and create a token for Claude Code. Write access is optional: tick Let it log bets, settle them and save picks only if you want Claude to use log_bet, settle_bet and save_recommendation.
Copy the token when it appears. Unitley shows it only once. The setup commands on the Connect page fill it in for you while the page is open.
Add the server
Run this in a terminal, with your token in place of the placeholder:
Run in a terminal claude mcp add --transport http unitley https://console.unitley.com/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_UNITLEY_TOKEN"This adds Unitley to the project you run it in. To use Unitley in every project instead, add
--scope user:Every project claude mcp add --scope user --transport http unitley https://console.unitley.com/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_UNITLEY_TOKEN"Claude Code saves the server without contacting it, so a mistyped token only shows up in the next step.
Check it with /mcp
Start Claude Code in the same project and run
/mcp. You should seeunitleylisted as connected. If it shows as failed (recent versions show the 401 in the server's details), Claude Code reached Unitley but the token was refused. See Troubleshooting. You can also run
claude mcp listin a terminal to see every server and whether it answers.Ask a first question
Try something that only Unitley can answer, for example:
- Using Unitley, what is the implied probability of −110?
- Using Unitley, show me the NFL games from Thursday through Monday with their current lines.
Claude picks the tools it needs. Unitley's instructions ask it to show its reasoning and say how old each price is.
Replace the token
When a token is about to expire, or you think it has leaked:
- Create a new token on the Connect page.
- Remove the old entry, then add it again with the new token, using the same command you used to add it.
- Run
/mcpto check the new token works. - Revoke the old token on the Connect page. Anything still using it loses access on its next request.
Remove it
claude mcp remove unitleyIf you added Unitley for every project, name that scope when you remove it:
claude mcp remove unitley --scope userRemoving the server does not revoke its token. Revoke the token on the Connect page when you no longer need it.
