Cursor
Add Unitley to Cursor's mcp.json for every project or just one, with your access token in the request header, then check it in Cursor.
Cursor connects to Unitley directly over HTTP, using a server entry in its mcp.json file. There is nothing else to install.
Set it up
Create a token
Open the Connect page and create a token for Cursor. Tick Let it log bets, settle them and save picks only if you want Cursor to use log_bet, settle_bet and save_recommendation. Unitley shows the token only once, and the Connect page fills it into the config below while the page is open.
Pick the file
~/.cursor/mcp.jsonin your home folder makes Unitley available in every project..cursor/mcp.jsoninside a project makes it available in that project only.
Add Unitley
Add this to the file, with your token in place of the placeholder:
~/.cursor/mcp.json { "mcpServers": { "unitley": { "url": "https://console.unitley.com/api/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_UNITLEY_TOKEN" } } } }If the file already has an
mcpServerssection, add only theunitleyentry inside it, with a comma between entries.Check it in Cursor
Open Customize in Cursor's sidebar, where you can turn MCP servers on and off, and make sure
unitleyis on. Cursor uses the tools listed under Available Tools when relevant. Cursor asks for your approval before it runs an MCP tool, unless you have changed that. Then try a question such as: Using Unitley, what is the implied probability of −110?
If it does not connect
Open the Output panel (Cmd+Shift+U on macOS) and choose MCP Logs from the dropdown. A 401 means the token was refused: check that the header holds Bearer , a space, and the whole token, and that the token has not expired or been revoked. See Troubleshooting.
Replace the token
- Create a new token on the Connect page.
- Put it in place of the old one in
mcp.json, keepingBearerin front. - Save the file, then restart Cursor (or turn
unitleyoff and on in Customize). - Revoke the old token on the Connect page.
Remove it
Delete the unitley entry from mcp.json, then revoke its token on the Connect page.
