Resources
The MCP resources Unitley offers: its betting knowledge notes, one per URI, which a client can attach to a chat or read whole.
Unitley offers its knowledge notes as MCP resources. They are short Markdown notes on how betting works: odds formats, the vig, expected value, Kelly sizing, parlay correlation, and notes for the NFL. Your client can attach one to the conversation, so the model reads the whole note rather than a search snippet.
The same notes are what search_knowledge searches, and what the guides on Learn are written from.
URIs
Each note has one URI, made from its path under Unitley's knowledge folder:
unitley://knowledge/<path>For example, the NFL note on key numbers is unitley://knowledge/nfl/key-numbers.md. Notes for every sport sit in general/, and notes for one sport sit in that sport's folder, such as nfl/.
Every resource has these fields:
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
uri | The note's URI. |
name | The note's path, such as knowledge/nfl/key-numbers.md. |
title | The note's title. |
description | Which sport the note is for, or every sport. |
mimeType | Always text/markdown. |

Reading a resource
resources/list returns every note above. resources/read with a note's URI returns its body:
{
"contents": [
{
"uri": "unitley://knowledge/nfl/key-numbers.md",
"mimeType": "text/markdown",
"text": "…the note, in Markdown…"
}
]
}A URI that names no note gets the JSON-RPC error -32602 with the message Resource not found: and the URI, which is also in data.uri. A URI is only ever matched against the list, so nothing outside the notes can be read this way.
There are no resource templates: resources/templates/list returns an empty list.
In Claude Code
Type @ in Claude Code to pick from the resources of your connected servers. A Unitley note is referenced with the server's name, then its URI:
@unitley:unitley://knowledge/nfl/key-numbers.mdThis uses the server name unitley, the name the Connect page's setup command gives it. See Claude Code and Claude Code's MCP guide (opens in a new tab).
Searching instead
You do not need to know a note's URI. The search_knowledge tool searches the notes and returns each match's title, path and a snippet. Put unitley:// in front of a result's path to get its resource URI. See search_knowledge.
Clients that do not support resources, and the REST API, reach the notes through search_knowledge only.
No subscriptions
The notes change only when Unitley ships an update, so the server offers no resource subscriptions and sends no change notifications. A subscriptions/listen request gets the JSON-RPC error -32601. To pick up a changed note, read it again.
